There is nothing better than salt in the air and sand in my hair (what's left of it).

The Other Side of the Coin

Yesterday was so mellow: warm water, chest high waves, glassy and 2 – 4 guys out. Today: nad numbing water (58˚ maybe less), head high plus waves, strong offshore flow and a considerable crowd.  Had to be on the road by 7:45 today so only stayed out for 90 minutes or so; that’s all I could take of the cold water anyway. Caught a half dozen decent waves; a couple deep into the bay. But on the way to work, with the floor heater set at 90, I just thought about how good we had it yesterday.
