No Go

Bad wind this morning jumbled things up and truth be told I needed the extra sleep. My better half worked me like a rented mule over the weekend and I was beat.

Peakier and Less Crowded

Ultra warm water with peaky shoulder high waves. Early paddle out with Henning under the full moon. Had a blast and will go back for more tomorrow :-}

Welcome Back Indeed

A little bit of swell in the water today. I went for an extra early go out cuz of the full moon and caught my best wave about 15 minutes into the sesh. According to my nerd rip curl GPS watch it was 209 yards! It was tough going after that with the mega crowd and super long lulls, I only got six more waves.

Here's that other Garcia (Pete)

Back From Ireland

Very much a working trip with very little free time.  14 - 16 hour days if you include going out to dinner and reading e-mails till midnight. Blah! Here's a few pictures I took along the way.

My Irish buddy said this sign is for Yank drivers. I told him "I notice you never drive in the states" :-]

A Quick Dip Before I Head Out Again

The buoys were tiny but the water and air was 73. Took the 7-6 Terry Martin out for some fun knee to chest high waves. No crowd and no wind. That's going to have to hold me until Saturday after I get back from Ireland.
A nice one would swing wide from time to time
