A nice glassy day. The pictures show wind, but it just kicked up as I was getting out, timing is everything😉.

Monday Surprise
Finally a workday without an early meeting with Ireland, so I actually got out fairly early for a change, 5:45am. Pretty light crowd, which is always nice. Surfed with Steve who is just back from shoulder surgery. Good to see him back in the water. The waves were primarily chest high , with an occasional larger set wave.

Last Friday, Mid-Morning Surf
Finally got a break from work and went down to the beach. Luckily the morning rush hour had passed and there were a few waves left over for the second shift. I was done in 90 minutes when the wind kicked up. Water was warm, crowd light and the ocean surface glassy.
