Got all rubbered up today. 4/3, hood and booties. Even though the water was still relatively warm the air was 38° and the wind was NE @ 15. It wasn't too bad while in the water, but after I exited my hands and face went numb. The waves? Chest to head high and only half dozen guys in the water. I caught one wave that was close to 200 yards long. It made more sense to get out walk back than paddle; except that my hands went numb until I got back in the toasty warm 62° water.
