There is nothing better than salt in the air and sand in my hair (what's left of it).

Two Weeks In Georgia

Spent the last two weeks on the east coast. Primarily to visit my daughter and the grand kids in Georgia.  But we did do a side trip to North and South Carolina to site see and visit friends.

My grandson seems to be responding to treatment. He went a full 12 days without a platelet transfusion. He has a bone marrow aspiration scheduled for next week which should tell us more.

Both grandchildren had their first communion while we were there. Ashley was able to attend the ceremony while Tripp had a private ceremony the next day at home.

We built a lot of Lego's, played indoor hide and seek and took a few walks in the neighborhood.

It's good to be home and yes I missed all the waves that went down. Gotta work today and tomorrow to get caught up (300+ emails). Hoping to go Friday but it looks like I'm home just in time for a rainstorm and onshore winds.
