Coldest Morning Of The Year

Air was in the low 40's, water was 57ᐤ-58ᐤ and the wind was offshore at 10 knots. Managed to catch a half dozen waves before I packed it in after 90 minutes. Had a hard time removing my booties; hands were frozen. Ran the heater in the car all the way to work just to thaw out. It does make you feel alive though!

Yesterday's Disaster

Very weak windswelly conditions, offshore early and then the dreaded south wind came on strong. WORST WINTER EVER! I guess it's officially Spring now, so it's also the WORST SPRING EVER (so far)!

More Small Windswelly Waves With Perfect Conditions

Someday there will be a real swell. Meantime, we will just have to make the best of it.
On an other note; I'm loving my Mandala twin fin. It goes good and covers a lot of my flaws as an aging surfer. So I got that going for me.

I Got Wet

We had some small windswelly waves on tap this morning with a surprise offshore flow. Slim pickens really but at least I can check the box for getting wet today.
