While it wasn't epic by any means there were a few runners to be had. Started out the morning with a belly ride. Just a little too late with the take-off and got slapped down by the lip. HaHa. Things got better right after that and caught a gem of a set wave that went all the way through. Later I aced Pete out of a really nice left; sorry bro. Things were slowing down when I was leaving and didn't get any good pics. You'll just have to trust me :-P
Helped a Brazilian couple in the parking lot figure out the parking meter. Turns out they're neighbors of Gabriel Medina and the woman is Medina's mom's best friend. Even though he lost to Carlos Munoz in a buzzer beater in round one he'll likely be a contender for the semi's at least.
