Almost Stayed Home

Looked at the buoys first thing and was disappointed to see only 1.3'.  After taking the dogs out I checked again and the O-side buoy jumped to 1.6 so I went for it.   Playful chest to shoulder high drainers, 72 degree water and just Casey and me for the first 45 minutes.  Paddled out at 5:10 and surfed till 7:30.  The bay was the only way.
