Epic Morning

It was soooo good today, and not crowded at all that first hour. Air was 84 degrees in the parking lot at 5:30 in the morning. The water was a balmy 72. The waves were head high + and oily glassy, it was surreal.

South Wind

It was actually pretty glassy at first with a slight south wind but by 7:15 it was at least 10 knots. and by the time I got my wetsuit off to take some pics it was close to 20 knots. Irritated that it glassed off in the afternoon. I caught a few fun ones, but yesterday was way better.

Last Tuesday and Today

Well, I completely forgot to post anything from last Tuesday. When I downloaded today's pics there was Tuesday's as well. It's been a brutal week at work, but I still squeezed in 3 sessions.

Last Tuesday 29AUG2017:
It was very crowded and my watch says I only caught 7 waves in roughly 90 minutes. So I'll call it a mediocre day.

Today: There were a some nice sets today, had a blast!

I hate the quality of the pictures off my new camera. So I just ordered a better one. That should teach me not to go cheap.

Looks Like We're Going To Have To Wait

There's a bit of a lull in waves and it looks like through the weekend. My back went out this morning so I'm down for a few days anyway. I was just bending over to clean something about thigh high and bang, sharp pain in the low back. Oh well, Advil is my friend. Here's to good waves with friends:
