Friday 29OCT2010. I pulled up to this, nobody out. Couldn't get my wetsuit on fast enough.
There is nothing better than salt in the air and sand in my hair (what's left of it).

The Rock Dance From Hell
Brought my Terry Martin Simmons today for a change. Did the low tide rock dance out to the lineup, no biggie. Broke the leg rope on the third wave. Did a double rock dance going in to get Steve's back-up leg rope and back into the line up. Was having a less than stellar morning, to say the least, until I moved deep into the bay. There were a few clean lines over there for me and a couple of other guys, long lulls too. But the sun was out and the water was glassy and warm. Can't complain about that.

Definitely Not Surfing Enough
Things are starting to level out at work now that the transition to the acquiring company is progressing smoothly. Anyone that has been through a multi-billion dollar acquisition can probably relate. Let's put it this way, I am now a expert at powerpoint, sad to say.
Hopefully, more time in the water is in my future. I obviously could have gone over the holiday weekend but I'm in no shape to paddle out in 1X+ overhead surf. So I spent the time enjoying family and friends.
However, yesterday I met up with Steve for a mid-morning sesh. Waves were shoulder high and the weather was perfect. We had fun; need to go more.
