Back from Hotlanta

Hot and humid in Forsyth county GA. Had a great time visiting with my Daughter and grand kids.

Today there were a few waves to be had, I was a bit rusty after my 9 day break and super tired from the trip. But I managed to get a half dozen waves, it felt good to be in the water again. The crowd was light and the water was warm. Here's Matt Parker:

I'm going to visit my Daughter and grandchildren for a week so there will be one less head in the line-up for a while, but it's summertime so it won't be noticed, LOL.

This morning was fun. Receding tide, chest high plus waves, warm water and a gentle off-shore flow. What more can you ask for?

Long Period Swell

Plenty of swell, just a bit of waiting in between sets. Water was warm, wind was mild and went to work satisfied even though I only caught 8 waves in 2 hours.
