Yesterday was glassy, warm and chest high waves were on tap. Only had a little over an hour in the water but I caught a handful of decent waves and enjoyed the classic fall afternoon.

Part Sponge, Part Alaia, Part Foil
Saw this guy at uppers yesterday. He was riding a strange board. An Alaia with a hinge to a sponge with a foil attached to the main part of the alaia. Interesting.... He was having a blast bodyboarding on this thing. some serious speed! Check out the pics.
A little bit of wind in the afternoon yesterday but the waves were really fun and there was no crowd. Just the way I like it. At one point there were only 3 of us in the water for about 30 minutes.

Yesterday, Another Delightful Afternoon
A little bit of wind, but still really fun. I didn't have a lot of time but caught 9 waves in a little over an hour. I had a little help in that I rode a longboard because it looked so slow and small at high tide on the cam. But hey, at 65, it's my right and ultimately my future. LOL
