There is nothing better than salt in the air and sand in my hair (what's left of it).

Last Night In Switzerland

We ended up having a little time to walk around Altstadt (old town) Zurich. It's been at least 10 years since I last did this. Heading home tomorrow and Saturday looks like a windfest. I'll probably need to sleep in anyway.

This is actually Biel where we spent the week; home of Rolex, Breitling, and Rado.

Saturday

Didn't get a chance to post for Saturday until today. I have a 4 hour layover in Stockholm, so plenty of time on my hands now. Was that a little whiny?
Anyway, Saturday was small and inconsistent with a little bit of morning sickness thrown in for the first hour. I stood there for 15 minutes and decided to go home dry. Even took my wetsuit off. Then Phil showed up and shamed me into going out, so I put my wetsuit back on. I had a grand total of 3 waves, but nothing like the one Bane caught below.

Greg, trying to decide - Paddle out or go home dry? He paddled out.

See you Saturday

Too Glassy

Even though the water was 60° and I was wearing a 3/2, the lack of wind and the sun beating down, I was actually sweating in my wettie. Paddled out at 9:15 to a line-up with only 3 souls with chest to head high waves. Aaahhhhh
