Mid-morning Session

Went a little later in the day after it warmed up since I've been under the weather the last few days. Nice mellow session.

Wouldn't you know that as soon as a real swell appears on the forecast that I would come down with a chest cold?  Working from home today and doing my best to get well for the weekend, but it's not looking good at the moment.  Looked like a few uncrowded lines this morning.

Ajax

Today we had to put down our 4 year old Australian Shepard, Ajax.  18 months ago he had a severe reaction to a rabies vaccine.  Ever since he has had chronic skin trouble and itching.  We did all we could, we even went to a Veterinarian Dermatologist.   But the combination of long term use of steroids and antibiotics to try and control the itching finally ran its course.  He was becoming increasingly aggressive and his symptoms were getting much worse.  He was my wife’s Velcro dog.  Here's some pics of Ajax on a camping trip to Jalama from a couple of years ago.

But no change in size from yesterday.  In reality yesterday was way more fun cuz there were very few who showed up early.  Not so much on MLK day.  Yesterday I wore my 3/2 flash bomb plus and was perfectly warm the whole morning.  Today the offshore flow was more pronounced and the air temperature was down around 40.  So like a fool I wore it again and froze my nads off.   I'm sitting in my office right now with a space heater on, trying to get my core temp back up!
