There is nothing better than salt in the air and sand in my hair (what's left of it).

Bigger Than I Thought It Would Be

Another mediocre session for me.  Need to get my cold water groove back.  There were a few head high sets pulling through with some long lulls in-between.  No worries, another wave will come.  Cory got a nice one off the point but I'm told Nick got the wave of the morning after I left.  That's the story anyway.....

Shocking

From skinning it for two weeks to wearing a 4/3 with booties.  Not the greatest session today, kinda tweaked my back on the first wave and was guarding it the rest of the morning.  We had inconsistent chest high waves with 57° water, 45° air and not very crowded.

Honolua Bay Then Kapalua Bay

It was only chest high this morning, but got to surf the cave all by myself for an hour.  Paddled out around 8:00, there were three guys on it, but as soon as I got my first wave one of them paddled towards coconuts and the other two went in. Lucky me!

Small Bay Day

The waves just weren't making it around the corner very well.  Surfed head high Hole-in-the-head and Little Makaha.  Also included is last night's sunset from our table at Merriman's.

Another day surfing the bay. I'm tired, heading to the pool to take a nap. :)

Snorkeling Kapalua Bay

It's been flat for a couple of days so we've been spending some time at the pool and snorkeling.  First time using my Craigslist Go-pro hero 2. Obviously there's room for improvement.

Got An Earlier Start Today

Still some head high waves at the bay.   Soooo nice to be surfing without a 4/3.  Looks like some good waves back home too, just looked at the Surfline cam.
