Sunday Funday

Finally, I catch a break. Paddled out by myself in the dark and had some alone time on a Sunday morning. My version of going to church. Waves were chest high plus, wind offshore and not too crowded that first hour. Although I did have a couple of donkeys today, I caught 10 decent waves in between. Looks like more bad wind for tomorrow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Boy Can I Pick 'Um

This week I surfed Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
Tuesday -  Paddled out in the Dark, wind offshore, then calm for a little while; but by 7:00 the wind shifted to hard south.
Friday - Paddled out in the Dark again, it was small and a little bumpy but the wind was offshore. Within 10 minutes the wind turned hard south again, session over in 20 minutes. 
Saturday - Wind Southeast, kinda offshore but again changing to full south by 7:00. At least Saturday had some size.

I violated my own motto yesterday: You Can't Score If You Don't Go

Yesterday at dawn I'm told there was fog cover and fun little waves to be had before the fog lifted and the fair weather surfers started showing up. I chose to sit at home, drink coffee and leisurely stroll on into work. 

Note to self, don't do that again! Just go!

Timing Is Everything

I passed this morning thinking that it would be just as weak as it was yesterday.
Wrongo Bongo! Steve said it was fun.
