It Was A Struggle

Hoping for the best this morning with 2.0 on the buoy and no wind, but Mother Ocean did not deliver. Against my better judgement I paddled out anyway. I don't do well in weak crumbly conditions anyway, but I managed to get one decent wave in the hour I was out there. Oh well, you have to take the good with the bad.

Small and Playful

Paddled out in the dark, four regulars were already on it. I just can't see that well in the moonlight anymore; yup, gettin' old. There were a few fun waves to be had before the tide swamped it out. Clean conditions, nothing over chest high but enough juice to run through some turns.

Was That Really The Last Day Of January?!?

A little something on the buoys, the king tide way behind us and summer like conditions. The water was 59/60 degrees but it was downright hot on the beach. Glad I brought my 3/2 cuz I was roasting in it because of the lack of wind and blazing sun. The waves? Fun, Fun, Fun and no crowd.

Am I glad I played hookie from work? Oh yeah!
