There is nothing better than salt in the air and sand in my hair (what's left of it).

Sloppy Junk

Cousin Eddy paid us a visit this morning and ruined any potential the small bump in the buoys had to offer. I paddled out anyway in the hope that the wind would lay down, but it only got worse. I got a handful of waves, a little exercise and the water was warm; what am I complaining about???

Woo Hoo! Micro plus!

I don't think it was really any bigger, it was just a little more consistent. It was nice to get wet and enjoy the first sunny morning in a long time. I was over it before 7:00.
Duty calls and I have to head up to SFO for 24 hours so you're on your own tomorrow.

Micro

Not more can be said except why did I paddle out in the first place? I know. I thought I saw a ridable wave, the water is toast warm, it was off-shore and the tide was going to turn around at 6:30. What could possibly go wrong?

That First 45 Minutes

Even though there was some onshore flow there were a few nice sets that rolled through. As the tide moved in it slowed down, started closing out and the crowd showed up as well.
Here's Dave giving one up for Troy :-P

This poor guy got washed up on the rocks
