I'll Leave The Forecasting To The Pros

Yesterday I mentioned that we were looking at more south wind through the weekend.  Wrongo Bongo.   It was offshore this morning!  Light crowd and head high plus waves.  Paddled out at 5:10 with the full moon lighting up the beach and surfed for a full three hours!  We won't talk about me getting sucked over the falls on that set wave.  Man, do I need a nap.

Not The Cleanest Of Days

In spite of the stupid wind there were still some fun head high corners here and there. 70° water and a light crowd kinda made up for the bad wind.  Looks like the wind will be with us all weekend.   It wouldn't be a typical Memorial day weekend without a strong eddy condition now would it.

Kandui!

As good as we had it today at uppers it’s hard to compare to the surf around Kandui resort in the Metawai islands.  Needless to say Richard had one hell of a trip.
