So I had a couple of meetings cancelled yesterday and was able to head down at 11:00. I saw a ton of people on longboards on the cam and since a high tide was peaking I followed suit. As I was suiting up most of the crowd got out as the wind was picking up. As the tide dropped the waves picked up. Surfed for almost 3 hours. Slept in till almost 8:00 today. Getting old......
Friday 29OCT2010. I pulled up to this, nobody out. Couldn't get my wetsuit on fast enough.
There is nothing better than salt in the air and sand in my hair (what's left of it).

My Happy Place
Surf line cameras were down yesterday. Got down to uppers at 11:30 and the wind was on it a little bit but really no affect on the shoulder high plus waves. Typical NW swell, steep take-offs and slower soft shoulders. I only caught 5 decent waves in a little over an hour. But they were all 200 yards plus. Did I mention that it glassed off 😁.

Sunday Afternoon Delight
It was glassy when I paddled out. The wind kicked up towards the end but it really had no affect on the quality of the waves. Not too crowded in the bay and the bay was the way.
