Fun Morning

Paddled out a few minutes after first light. Water 66, air 58 and off-shore flow. Waves were chest high and not too many takers. Stayed out till 9:00 and am now sitting in the Aer Lingus / Virgin Atlantic clubhouse at LAX, heading back to Ireland for the week. Be well, see you Sunday.

Timing Is Everything

I had early meetings yesterday, I'm out for the weekend so my only window was the afternoon. I left work early and caught the incoming tide in the early afternoon. The session started a little slow but boy did it pick up nicely. Caught a handful of 200 yard plus waves. I'm headed to Las Vegas today to visit relatives and Monday I'm headed back to Ireland for the week. I should be able to surf next Monday morning before I head to LAX if I'm not too exhausted. I'll be back in time for Halloween. 😠
