Darn That Wind

I wish I would have gone early cuz it looked really good, but it just didn't work out for me. The wind was just turning south when I got there at 9:00. I put in my 90 minutes and it wasn't all that bad, in fact I did much better than I usually do when it's side-shore like this. I think this has been the worst winter in a decade for SoCal.

Been not so good lately here in SoCal. I heard there were a few corners over the weekend and Monday morning. I was in Vegas for a four day weekend so missed all that. Now, I'm being tortured on Instagram:

Almost everyone brought a big board today. It was mostly knee to belly high with a very occasional shoulder high set. I had a blast on my new 8' Wegener.
